- A good cup from light to dark. Lighter you will see a little more fruitiness, with just hints of a chocolate factor. Pretty low acidity across the board with a medium body. Medium roasts build the chocolaty part of the cup, smooth and sweet. Just a hint of a red fruit in the aromatics and as the cup cools. Darker roasts get a little roasty muting the delicate features of the cup but the roasty and smoky tones do compliment the more chocolaty properties of the cup.
Roast
- Medium – Also known as city or regular roast, which is the most common roasting profile. The natural flavors of the beans are more dominant than the roast flavors and the finish is delightfully aromatic
- Dark – Also known as full city or French roast. The roast flavors dominate the natural flavors of the beans
